So lets look at this in abit more detail

Lets take the Giants for example

1x Season Ticket (13 games) = 100 pounds
13x Away Games (Lets say 20 pounds a game) 260 pounds
Magic Weeked from 15 pounds
2x England Vs Exiles 39 Pounds
England end of season games ( will be around 20 pounds) 80 pounds
Challenge cup (again around 20 pounds per game) 80 pounds
Challenge cup final 30 pounds
Grand Final around 30 ponnds

Total 634 pounds

So thats 634 for a full years worth of rugby both Domestic, cup and international, for that you get 39 games which works out at 16.25 per game.

I have not included the cost of coach travel etc along with the cost to go to Catalans away because if you ask me that is a holiday with a Rugby match so that does not count.

Lets look at another sport, Huddersfield Town play in the championship and a season ticket in the middle range for 1 adult is 435 pounds and that is just for league games and includes 23 games (18.91 per game)

Now i will let you look at these prices and work out if you think the RFL and clubs are ripping us off, but if you ask me we get very very good value for money.

People moaning about ticket prices do my head in. You can go on a night out and do a ton without realising, and what have you to show for it the next day, other than a sore head? If you enjoy rugby league, then put your hand in your wallet! FFS, you can pay more for a pizza from Domino's than for most RL match tickets.

Well, I went and bought the shirts and ticket combo, and hence will have a spare ticket for the North stand. Somebody offer me a tenner, and it's yours.

No, it isn't.

It really isn't. Its cheaper than some standard SL games. This is a game with the best players from our league. They could quite easily charge more. Its great value for money. Throw in the shirt offer too and you're laughing.
