I hope Bradford pull through this and I want them to stay in SL, but how they can justify taking donations to stay afloat and still not selling any players or renegotiating contracts I just can't understand.

If I asked you to lend me £50 because I couldn't afford to feed my family, and then you found I refused to cancel my sky subscription to improve my own situation you'd feel like you'd been robbed.

A competitive squad is an expensive luxury for Bradford at the moment. As long as they have 17 bodies to put on the park and fulfil their fixtures it shouldn't matter to them if they are fielding a team comprising of stadium stewards and a couple of st. Johns ambulance men.

If they refuse to help themselves, why should anyone else help? Madness.

Would never like to see any team go bust and don't hold a grudge against their fans, but Wakefield had to sell many of their best players last season. I don't understand why Bradford seem to think it's acceptable to keep asking for money, without reducing their running costs. Hardly a level playing field in my eyes, especially when they're looking to take one of our better players off us.

I didn't agree with them asking other fans for money last time, and I certainly don't agree with it now.

The alarm bells were ringing months ago, I would have thought the RFL would have had there own enquiry to avoid this superleague negativity. We,ve had some club chairmen having concerns of thr RFL transparency, maybe they are right.

Dont jump the gun people. The article says they are in talks with investors to come up with the 700k, no direct quote or indication they are asking the fans. If they cant get the money that way, I agree that they simply must get rid of some top earners and not expect people to help. They seem so reluctant to get rid of players but they arent exactly going to do anything this season anyway, maybe sneak into the playoffs (yes I know rovers are in the same boat). Surely they should try their damnest to help themselves, write this season off if it means a chance of avoiding administration

For clarification, in April they needed £0.5m to see out the month and another half mil by the end of the season.

Now, with the .5 already raised through the generosity of their fans and former players, they are after another 0.7m.

What will that be by the end of the season?
