Hull is a rugby league city and for 2 professional clubs to have such low numbers of local players is a very poor effort from those clubs. Hopefully both clubs will put a focus on their youth systems instead of signing average Aussies or even average English players. They need to be producing more themselves.'"
I bet the likes of Wigan or St Helens produce 3-4x the number of youngsters than the city of Hull.

I don't know why anyone is having a go at Hull KR, that was still one of the better away attendances at the DW in the last couple of years and they have a greater distance to travel for Friday night games than most sides.

No it wasn't. I'm not having a go at all at Hull KR fans, everyone has different circumstances & priorities, but that was not a large turnout and was not one of the better away attendances. |
