| Quote Anakin Skywalker="Anakin Skywalker"So you don't think it at all strange that the ONLY folks who think it was a 'tackle' are Cas fans?
Surely some fans elsewhere would come by this conclusion if it was in anyway in doubt.
So far none have.
Strange that eh!!'"
Do you want me to lie and say that I think he did it on purpose, went out to elbow Ropati in the face, break his jaw and then give him the dreaded "menacing look" whilst he was on the ground?
I'm not defending it was a bad challenge, I just don't think it was premeditated as people seem to think it was.

| Quote vbfg="vbfg"I think it's one of the worst elbows I've ever seen. Easily on a par with Cassidy on Morley.
Feel free to mention me in court.'"
That's an opinion
The problem is the people making claims it was a premeditated "attack" with the only intent was to cause injury.
Having an opinion it was an elbow is fine, albeit slightly wrong (last contact is with the elbow which is down to sloppy technique).

Sssshhhh!
Some people don't know the difference between unfortunate accident due to poor technique and premeditated attack with the intention to end a career.

| Quote Gronk!="Gronk!"Look at the 2nd gif posted by Dumdum, first contact from that angle appears to be a head clash. Why his arm comes up after it, well that is his terrible technique when he shoulder charges, as many people have said - he does it EVERY WEEK and 99% of the time, it's a legal hit.
It's reckless and an unfortunate accident.
I'd suggest this thread be closed because all the people claiming it to be a premeditated attack, calling for him to be charged and saying he should be sued could get this website in a lot of trouble.'"
Club bias related player defence reaches an unsavoury all time low.

No one but cas fans see it as a 'tackle'
That in itself should tell you something.
If you want to see it as such then fine but please don't try and tell other folks they are wrong when ALL the neutrals are of the same opinion.

I'd suggest this thread be closed because of the disgusting defence of a mindless act of violence by an increasingly desparate sounding cas fan!
Embarrasing!

I'm fairly sure that I have seen non-Cas fans in this thread saying it was a bad tackle but perhaps I am wrong on that.
I also haven't told anybody they are wrong, simply stated my own opinion on the matter which I am entitled to as much as you or anyone else is.

An elbow is raised to jaw height by Chase, he follows through, and one of the consequences was a broken jaw.
That's not opinion.

| Chase is looking at Ropati before his feet leave the ground and before he swings his elbow through his face and subsequently breaking his jaw, after the malicious attack, not one single Cas player checks if he is ok, More importantly - Chase, who will have known full well how much contact he made, may even have felt it break. Instead e stuck his chest out, clenched his fists and trotted off all happy with himself at doing what he set out to do, which was put in a massive hit.
Poor technique is not the reason that Chase's arm/elbow ended up across an opponents face, like I've said, Chase saw where his arm was yet still followed through with all of his weight, additionally he jumped into it which has added more force.
