The RFL desperately needs a new regime. The main question has to be, how can a club be given a franchise and then 6 months later it's going into administration?

I mean, we've had several Lancs clubs railroaded into getting new stadia - and what are they building over the other side of the Pennines? FFS, when you've got Headingly and Hull KR getting premier event then you know there's a problem

So what was your point about FTA games? There's nothing preventing national print media, TV or radio from reporting on RL other than their own choice - certainly not that SL games are only on Sky, and Championship on Premier Sports.

There are multiple reasons why the national media think that it's not worthwhile reporting on RL, but let's not pretend that Sky's rights to the games are a major factor in that (even if some sports journalists - keen enough to report on other Sky-only minority sports - might pretend that, themselves).

well we can use internationals and Challenge Cup as an example. When shown on on FTA on the weekend its not like the media give us coverage come monday morning.

Damn even on BBC news, when they have their sports section they hardly mention anything from the same CC game they showed on the same day.
