What a wretched performance from the Cowboys, they were completing at about 40% on 65 minutes and haven't finished a set since either. Titans haven't had much to do to beat them.
Neil Henry has gotta be the first coach out the door this year, they get flogged by a poor Titans side and couldn't even hold onto the ball nevermind score a point, so what does he do? He goes and drops Lui and keeps the invisible halfback in Ray Thompson who offers nothing whatsoever to the side, moves the star playmaker Thurston to 6 so he gets less of the ball, what is going on?
Segeyaro has looked a great prospect last year and Payne is way past his best yet Segeyaro didn't get on the bench last week and Payne started. Young Taumalolo was barmstorming in the few games he played last season yet he got dropped at the weekend for players like Hall and Cooper who are just grafters, Cory Paterson cant get a look in either. The best winger they've got is Faifai Loa yet he cant get in the side with Henry picking Ash Graham the knock on machine and Pangai who made his debut last week on the wing but is a centre, this week Graham keeps his place and Winterstein is on the wing. Henry said changes were inevitable after last weeks performance but he's kept most of the side apart from the younger ones, look at Tariq Sims last year when he got a chance, why not give the underperforming experience the boot and give the youngsters a chance in there prefered positions.
I can only speculate that they see Thompson as the future of the club and moved Thurston back to 6 where he started his career. But I did scratch my head at that decision too.
