| Shaun Briscoe? Bravest without a doubt, most reliable-maybe. Up there with the best as he has been consistantly sound throughout his 10 years in S.L.
My personal choice for best full back would be Henry Paul, know he played a fair few games at 6, but I remember him best at 1.
Also think if Hull FC would of played Richard Horne at fullback from a young kid he would of turned out to be world class.

| Tomkins is the most talented. One of the only FB's who can just create something out of nothing.
Radlinski was my hero growing up as a kid but I would honestly rather have Tomkins as he is a constant threat. He can chime into the line, make try saving tackles, kick, organise, lead...

| The other name that came up was Brent Webb, although personally I'd go with Wellens or Radlinski.

| Fullback has long been one of our worst positions relative to Australia - partly because of our fixation with them being defensively sound above all else. Wellens would barely have played as a fullback in the NRL, as he's way too slow - he'd have probably played elsewhere with success, just not fullback. Radlinski I struggle to recall thinking much of at all TBH - certainly at international level. again, way behind the best Aussies.
Tomkins is the first English fullback for a long, long time to have the attacking capability of the best Aussies. I don't care if he hasn't played as long as the others, he'd be my first pick every single time. If he improves his defensive play, he's every bit as good as the best Australia has. If not, I'd still pick him ahead of the others mentioned.

| Kris Radlinski - brave, rock solid under the high ball, plenty of pace, superb support play and terrific awareness.
If i had to choose a player other than my own club then it would have to be Paul Wellens - very solid if not the quickest but very dependable.

Im a Wigan fan. Thought that was obvious from my username. Iv seen wels play quite a few matches he has had a lengthy career.
I apologise for not having a different opinion and picking a player from the team you follow.
