Absolute disaster for me. I work 16 hours Monday and Tuesday. This will mean I miss out on even more rugby. I'm sick of paying for everyone elses sport with sky. If its extra to a Saturday game I don't mind but as a replacement no thank you.

true enough but will the new deal with Premier Sports be an improvement on the previous SKY deal for the clubs ?

as an armchair fan of uk RL I don't care if the game is watched by 3000 or 30000 speccies at the ground - I just want to watch a decent contest in the comfort of my living room - end of.

I was disappointed that ESPN didn't get the rights as they would have probably treated the sport (second most watched comp behind football) with the respect it deserves rather than just schedule filler.

Maybe this is the start of something changing for the better

There is no money from PS , there was no money from SKY , we dont yet know if we will retain the Co oP as a sponsor , their input was purely TV coverage based

It's not about who is the negotiator , if we are worthless , then fine , accept that , we dont go on the box , but stop flogging a dying horse , giving the coverage for nothing

Let us concentrate on doing what the latest SL sponsor is telling us , that sport is for your local club

We need people through the turnstiles who will pay to follow our clubs for life , not our locals going to the pub , or sat at home effectively watching us for nothing
