I watched one of the free games last season, and the quality of footage was almost unwatchable. It looked like it was being streamed down the internet on a dial-up connection. Has it improved, cos £7.99 is a good price.

They repeat everything all the time, should be called Groundhog Channel. The quality of the pictures isn't the best & on certain other shows the dubbling is shocking. I'm not knocking their coverage of NRL but apart from that it's not worth the subscription.

I thought SOO was broadcast on Sky last year ? .

£8 a month for around 30 games of RL will do for me. It's not Sky Sports HD, but nor does it pretend to be.

Great value for the amount of NRL you get. Considering I had to pay about £10 a month for a maximum of 2 games on setanta.

I might be mistaken but I think they only showed the final SOO on SKY last year. They also showed the NRL Grandfinal. TBH if they don't have the SOO cos SKY have it instead that's fine with me - so long as its on one of the channels.

Can't see the issue with them not having any other sport worth watching - £7.99 per month for around 24 games from the best RL comp in the world seems decent value to me.

Yeah, Sky had all of them last year. Premiersports only have City v Country but like you say, 6 games a week for £2 is worth the fee alone... forget about what else is on there.

Just to clarify last season :-

Sky had:- 3 State of Origin, NRL Grand Final, Weekly NRL highlights show, International RL and on average 2 Super League Games per week during the season with commentary from Eddie and Stevo

Premier Sports - NRL All Stars, City v Country, on average 5 NRL games per week, NRL Playoffs, delayed coverage of NRL Grand final - no Eddie and Stevo

Next season, Premier have said they will have 170 NRL Games plus 32 Championship games

nb. You don't have to subscribe to Sky to be able to watch Premier, just need a sky box and dish

It is decent value, my only gripes are it would be good to get all the pre-match build up plus half time and full time interviews and analysis, also if games go to golden point extra time the programme isnt extended in the sky planner so you often miss the end of games if you are sky+ing them.
