If you go to a well known video clip site you can briefly see Artie in action - "Artie Beetson 1975/75 grand finals" or similar. Also "Birth of Origin Raudonikis and Beetson" - second half of clip shows Artie in action.

It rather belittles his many greater achievements in the game which don't or hardly get a mention in the report. I wouldn't be surprised if he played more games for Australia in the UK than he did for Hull KR either.

Having met Artie several times, he was a man who prized all of his achievements. It would have been a huge challenge for a young aboriginal to travel away from home to live and play in England.

I think you do Artie a great dis-service if you think he would not be proud to be remembered for this.
