Quote: Bondi_Warrior "Does it not occur to you that forwards tire the most and you cant put a winger on the bench just in case of injury. A 6 and a winger on the bench is the dumbest idea I have heard especially when you have picked and aging Peacock to start and an aging Morley on the bench. And the fact I didnt put a 17 down doesnt mean it isnt a terrible idea.
FWIW I would go for something like this
- Tomkins
- Hall
- Reed
- Shenton/Bridge
- Briscoe
- Widdop
- Lomax
- Graham
- Roby
- S Burgess
- Ellis
- Westwood
- O'Loughlin
- Mossop
- Carvell
- Wilkin
- Brough/Burrow/Chase'"
It does occur to me that forwards tire but switching the forwards in 20 minute stints uses 6 interchanges leaving 6 interchanges left for whether the forwards are blowing and whether changes in the back are needed. most teams attack down the middle and put the ball to the outside of the defence, with an injured winger in defensive line the attack is more likely to pass through the defence out wide.
