Best player i've ever seen and the reason we booked our final tickets before we knew England were there. We should all stay and clap him off the pitch, rather than trying to get home 5 mins early.

I was lucky enough to see him playing in Brisbane in 1997 and for the Aussies at Wembley the same year. Not many people have had a 17 year career at the top in the modern game.
I reckon if you're going to pick a moment from his career, it would be the 2006 State of Origin, the interception try a few minutes from the end of the 3rd game to win the series for Queensland.
The NZ national anthem & haka were immacutely observed by the crowd at Hull on Saturday; I'm sure we'll see a suitable reception for Lockyer this weekend.
