This is a massive shame, big blow for Wales ahead of 4 Nations. On the playing field definately but more on the credibility/ profile point of view. Another Championship player with a Welsh gran to replace him i fear!

Most dissapointing, would have loved to watch him play at the double header and end his career in a Wales RL shirt.

Heard earlier today that Thomas is staying involved at Crusaders

Not to sure what is happening with Dave Clark but apparently the WRL would like to keep Gareth Thomas involved with league within Wales and see him developing at the scorpions

No great loss, on the tele saying didn't want to let Wales rfu down so waited until they had gone home to announce this 4 days before Wales rl start the 4 nations ??? Obviously couldn't give a toss about his country or our game. Good riddence to a price of crap
