It's 4.30am and I'm wide awake, watching a replay of the semi final win v's Wigan...Feels like a grand final to me!! (Just hope we can have a year without the silent car journey home and the feeling of having your nuts ripped out through your throat!!)

It may be that a lot ofneutral fans are skint and can't afford to go, they perhaps would have if their team was there. |

I think it's the fact that the media were bigging it up for a Wigan v Warrington final for most of the season. Now that it's a suprising Leeds v Saints, for a few days the media was all about why Wigan and Wire didn,t make it. Also the last few days we are having the rah rah world cup negating the building up to the grand final.
I would be impressed if there were 65 000 fans there today if you consider the factors of the recession, poor marketing, rah rah word cup etc

I'm looking forward to it as well. Setting off at 3pm to get in nice and early to watch the pre match.
I think the game will be a cracker. The good thing about it is there isn't a real favourite in my mind. If Wire had beat Leeds they'd be huge favourites and if Wigan had beat Saints we'd have been favourites against Leeds but with both losing it's blown it wide open.
I'm obviously gutted Wigan didn't make it but i'm looking forward to sitting at Old Trafford as a nuetral and watching a good game without being a bag of nerves.

Living in Wigan, when Wigan are not in a final, usually most people are buzzing for Wembley and Old Trafford no matters who's there. Eveyone's normally asking each other where you watching the game and who do you want to win, but for some reason this years playoffs have just not took off even though Wire v Leeds was a blinder. Strange one.
