| The landlord ( Dominic ) is actualy a whitehaven fan, but also supports the saints to as he knows a class act when he see's one. Great pub, sensational array of ales, both english and from al over Europe. There must be a range of 50 or so bottled beers to try, and usualy around 5 or 6 real ales on pump. RL always on the screens. Big supporter fo RL is the fly in the loaf, if your ever in Liverpool, get in there and enjoy RL in the city !

| I'd like to echo the sentiments here. We watched the Play-off semi between Saints and Huddersfield a couple of years ago as we were going to a gig in the city later that evening. Dominic made sure at least one of the tellies was showing the game, even though the pub was full of footie fans as Liverpool were on the telly, away at West Ham.
Top pub, with Okells beer from the Isle of Man.

| It is a good pub. I go to Liverpool Uni and so have been there a few times. I got a pleasant suprise first time I went to see a signed Saints ball behind the bar and the signed RL shirts. One time on FA Cup final day this year I was there in my Saints shirt waiting to watch the Hudds/Saints league match and they switched over one of the tellies to put it on during the post-match coverage and it was on all of them after the football coverage ended.
It is one pub guaranteed to have televised RL on!

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
