Unfortunately I think a national TV advert would blow the RFL's annual marketing budget in 30 seconds. Money would perhaps be better spent giving every amateur RL club in the London area 500 tickets each and telling them they can keep the money for every ticket they sell.
You guys need to move down here. I can't imagine a place where Union is more popular than league? :S Mind boggling...

Not seen much column inches in the papers about the play offs either. If you don't have sky or any rugby papers then rugby league does't exist.
The RFL marketing team have only just found out the difference between Intranet and Internet, maybe nothing exists outside of Red Hall.

I dont think the IRB have a say in it. The advertising would be done with the network.
Did you know that as long as an advert ticks all the rights boxes no tv channel is able to turn the advert down. Which is why a couple of years ago Crazy frog was everywhere.
