G'morning folks. I have been an avid reader and follower of the forum for a few years but this is first post - so be gentle!!
Regarding LMS v Eorl.
As a non-neutral observer (Saints) - watching at the game I can understand why the ref put this on report. Initially it did look like the elbow was raised, but back home and watching the recorded game with the benefit of slo-mo it seems quite clear that LMS got the collision wrong and came of the worse for it.
Aye, as a neutral watching it just looked like LMS got his timing out.
Don't know why fans go apoplectic when a player is put on report though - if the players done nowt wrong (as in this case) he'll be let off as no case to answer.
Overall, thought Bentham had a reasonable game. Its inevitable though that fans of the losing side will annalyse every 50/50 decision that didn't go in their favour and decide the ref is against em.
