Quote wire quin="wire quin"Went To Ajax stadium to see Take That last week(I Know!!) That has a roof that closes and plenty of after match activity to boot

Nice ground and location, £29 return for 4 people on the boat, downside is the beer is expensive in the bars, not to bad in the offy!'"
you mean The Amsterdam Arena? i went to a bloody christian youth convention there

some of my well behaved friends were attending and i tagged along just because its amsterdam and i felt like being off my face for a few days, also anatagonising devout christians can be fun.suffice to say, most of the attendees did not react well to my turning up laughing my off.
anyway, amsterdam is a bit of a stretch surely?
if its not going to be cardiff surely it has to be london or somewhere closer to home that might actually get a respectable turnout. but then we are limited by the fact that no football team in the north will lend us their stadium to play several games in two days, especially halfway through the football season.
As has been said many times before, manchester cities stadium would do nicely. but it wont happen.
perhaps a cricket ground? they do it in the NRL from time to time. of course the problem again being convincing one of them to have several rugby league games on the precious cricket surface.
Old Trafford, Edgebaston, even (dare i say it) Headingly (the cricket bit). worth a thought maybe.
