He was solid and people wanted him in an international jersey!! Sometimes we belittle our competition and players too much.'"
Average and poor relative to NRL standards, but not to SL. Look at how many NRL nobodies are playing in SL. That's what belittles the SL and players brought through here. Not what someone might 'think'. |

yeah he was selected in the world 13 a few times before he went to the NRL...meaning he was considered 1 of the top 2 2nd rowers in the world....
he also had a "flick pass" BEFORE he went to australia |

When the "World 13" are picked, the Judges are from across both Leagues, some players from England are always going to be picked regardless.
Ellis is a fine choice, others less so. |

have a look at how many NRL "superstars" come over here to SL and fail miserably, or those that have looked average over here, then gone back to starring in the NRL again. |

If he works hard he will do well. There are poor players in SL and the NRL. It's all about how much effort they are willing to put in no matter where they play.
