And people can always buy tickets even if they can't attend the game - give a little to Mencap.

But that isn't really the point of the exercise , what Dale are trying to do is to create an ' atmosphere ' at Spotland that will be attractive to bringing people back again , as that is what is missing at most lower tier matches

What is the betting Rochdale get more than for the England v Exiles game?

Castleford aimed for 10k in Super League albiet against Quins but they gave had buy one get one free on adults tickets and may have had some free kids tickets too, anyway the attendance was 7k. This was a big attendance for this game considering Quins travelling support but it still fell short of 10k.

I'll take that bet, i'll have England, you have Rochdale.

It's an incentive by Rochdale Hornets, so why not talk about it?

Wildly optimistic and a bit pointless even mentioning 10k, but at least they are having a go at boosting what is sadly a not very popular sport in Rochdale.

I mention super league clubs because some of them need to be doing things like this as well.... it's shocking that the smaller clubs are setting the example for what the sport needs.
