Good crowd at Leichhardt, especially for a Monday night. Weirdly enough there didn't seem to be many people walking to the ground. The line up to get tickets was the busiest I've seen it in a couple of years.

Crowd was pretty subdued, wasn't too much to cheer about. Bring on Storm in 2 weeks.

Gotta say, Bisbane crowd was disappointing, over 10k down on their average so far in 2011 as well as ST GI 10k down, Manly 6k down with only the Warriors showing a minimal reduction on their average and that's because the visit of Benji is the closest thing we have to a derby fixture.

Dry night Friday, a few Showers on Saturday, so the weather can't be blamed for the poor showing in Sydney....even 13,500 rolled up to the Kick'n'clap at the SFS on Saturday Night and nearly 24k turned up to watch the fumblers on Sunday.

What is it with the NSW/Sydney sports fans? Manly now have 3 of the 6 worst attendances this year so far and they are a top 4 side FFS


ST GI....top of the table, Manly Second, Broncos 5th all 3 at home and yet they can't get people to games?

Sorry if this sounds like I am having a pop, coz i ain't, but the clubs need to take ownership of this issue and not become even more reliant on TV cash/pokies. 70,000+ empty seats over the 4 games....less than 44% capacity sold....not good for business.
