| Quote Gahan="Gahan"Forgetting the bollox on the directive for a sec, you asked to use your away shirt for your home fixture against us, we agreed on proviso we do likewise in the return fixture so thats agreed in Feb, your then e mailed on the 17th May reminding you bout the kits for the Shay game.
Now seriously for a second, who had the wrong kit yesterday?
You got internet in Cas yet?
'"
Electronic communication is a wonderful thing, just recently I sent one to the manager of where I work, and hey guess what, he never received it due to problems with an email server. Can you prove that Cas got their email from the RFL on 17th May??? Thought not unless you happen to work for the RFL and put the send/receive communicator on the email.

It happens, i would have thought Mr Wright would have come out and cleared it up by now if that was the case. RT has put our side over, surely Cas would counter it.

Obviously not, see point above
You forgot to comment on the verbal agreement following the game at Cas where we swapped kits to allow you to wear your new one, so lousy memories as well

What verbal agreement would that be then? I recall no such agreement being reported, as all the Huddersfield fans seem to be conveniently remembering...

She turned up with the correct keys. Easy isn't it? Tell that to Cas & Huddersfield.

| Shame the Cas players can't put as much effort into defence as their fans are into this, equally hopeless stance.

| Quote Hartster="Hartster"Paul Crashley was interviewed before the game and stated he was not aware of who was at fault [uand that he would have to write a long report.[/u
Was this interviewed followed with a subsequent one where he openly said Cas were at fault? I can't imagine the match commissioner making such a judgement on television.
I didn't bother hanging round to watch the game after such a complete farce. Fax's ground looks poop when the cameras point at the crappy old stand!!'"
Why?
I don't think anyone was robbed, burgled, raped, run over or shot.
Mix up with shirts.
No one was killed.
No big deal.
Move on.

| Has anyone realised that this wouldn't normally be an issue as the home team always has both sets of kit in the same building as the changing rooms. Normally Huddersfield would change and we wouldn't hear of it.

| You all forget the "good old days"
This was a friday night match, I think, in wet muddy conditions with Fax playing in all black and Salford in Blue!!!!
Well of course there was a colour clash between Blue and White hoops, and an all Red jumper so there obviously had to be change.
It looked so good on the TV as well!!!
Perhaps one day, the RFL will develop a pair, and state that teams will play in their registered colours and the ONLY time they are allowed to change is if there is an obvious colour clash and the HOME team has to change.
The Cougars will win the World Club Challenge before this piece of common sense is applied though.

What if the away shirt clashed with both kits of the home team?
It happens.
Which is why the away team is instructed to bring BOTH kits. In this instance, Hudds should probably have had both kits as well.
For those saying this isn't a big deal, they are slightly ignorant of how damaging this is to the profile of the game. Not to mention sponsorship issues from the shirt, etc. This should never happen again. It was utterly embarrassing. It's like a band forgetting their instruments for a concert.

| can i just spoil things a bit for people who are keen to blame the giants,im sure cas fans remember this :
it was agreed in february when cas asked to wear their new away kit to "showcase" it on the first televised game of the weekly rounds, that instead of them wearing their principle kit they wanted to wear their brand new sparkling alternative kit, we agreed and so it was then agreed that on the return fixture cas would wear their principle kit.so either the RFL or castleford or both forgot or chose to ignore this.
no blame whatsoever on huddersfields part.
