Difficult to build and keep a team because:

1/ You could win everything and still be refused entry by a backroom licensing decision, which couuld well boil down purely to a clubs geography. This uncertainty puts fans, players and coaches off and is a reason why crowds will never be big in NL1 as it stands.

2/ The long period to wait means you'll probably have your manager and best players nicked by SL clubs

Which if you dont get right from the start will result in you being stuck at the bottom of SL with ever dwindling attendances anyway ,

It will happen anyway, it always has, if you think it doesn't happen to the lower SL teams you are foolish. You can't stop cream rising to the top.

I'll repeat, 90% of a Championship winning side will need to be replaced anyway, they just won't be good enough.

If you think Huddersfield could be challenging like they are under P&R you are a bigger fool than I though.

Take away Kens millions and they are a Championship club , simple as , ditto Quins , ditto Salford , Cas and Wakey scuff along robbing peter to pay paul , HKR have just borrowed to the hilt , but can see the end of the tunnel , they might get there eventually

On a £300k salary cap the most you can become is a feeder club to SL, You get the youth and develop it into the first team and then can't afford to pay them what they are worth simply due to the Salary Cap restriction of £300k, so they go to SL. Great example is Kyle Briggs, Wanted to stay with Fev but a rugby players career is only so long, you must take the opportunity to make what you can when you can. It isn't getting any better and as long as Championship rugby is treated like a second rate league it isn't going to.

I hope someone does come down into the championship, they can then see what its like STUCK !! They can do everything that the RFL asks of them still to be told NO!!!, 3 more years of being in their becuase their becuase the other clubs in SL dont want to share the sky money. reep what they have sown for a bit.
