When was I posting when a Rhinos home match was on?

I posted at 6.16 in the morning on Saturday - If the Rhinos were playing at that time show me some evidence - otherwise you need to retype your post?

Just maybe the time difference was beyond the comprehension of your cranium?

In some ways, an Australian FIFA WC in 2022 would have been great for rugby league facilities in Australia.

Lang Park would at least have got boosted somehow.

It is times like this first game of the Origin series where an 80,000 plus stadium in Brisbane is needed. The excitement in Queensland is palpable.

Check out hte stadium proposals. The big winner was going to be the AFL. Ovals in Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Canberra and Geelong.

The only real benefit to the NRL would’ve been the Cowboys homeground.
Newcastle would’ve had the ends built up and Canberra would’ve got a new stadium (but their current stadium is already better than other grounds in the comp so…).

At least this way the upgrades to the Perth/Adelaide/etc AFL grounds will be paid for with their state govt money and not federal money.

Unlikely ............ I believe it's different in Aus but here in the UK, we view attending games as a minimum requirement for calling yourself a "true" fan, and we wear it like a badge of honour. Suggesting that you might be an armchair supporter is the worst insult you can hurl at someone.

Agreed - I think their hypocrisy had been exposed as had their inability to understand time zones - as you say attending games is a minimum requirement of anyone who allegedly is so in love with the game?
