he certainly does seem to be able to point out how every try has been scored along with the whys and wherefores of all other aspects of the game, which begs the question........why is the team he coaches so $hite???

Because he's a poor coach. Maybe it should be a wake-up call for fans who think that a coach's job is just to shout at the players and tell them to do well.

... but at least he doesn't speak in a northern accent, which according to some folk on this board is a prerequisite for disaster.

Embarrassing to watch, he looks like he is trying to wing it with every question instead of being prepared. He was suppose to be talking about wire at point but instead talked about Salfords problems which ended abruptly until he started talking about Richie Myler injury and saying he won't be out as long as what has been reported ( isn't he is agent? ) had to switch over at this point.

Does anyone watch Match of the Day. Alan Hansen could tell you why this goal was scored or why that goal wasn't scored, yet he's never even coached or managed a team. Football fans don't say he doesn't know what he's on about (apart from the kids thing). In fact all of the summarisers on MotD have either never managed or been pretty unsuccessful.

he was ing atrocious last night, i reckon he turned up expecting to go through the tries as he normally does (badly) and got jumped being asked to do previews for todays games.


It was highly embarressing though.
