I really don't get this preoccupation with attendances......so long as Harlequins RL are financially viable then they will remain in SL.......as for SKYTV saying the'yd reduce the cash if there were no london?????.....does anyone here care to find out? Seriously...if London were the team to go and let's say the money dropped to 500k each......how many clubs would survive? 10 grand a week drop in "profitable" income.........how would say Wakey, Castleford, HKR and Widnes cope with that?
Back to the 80's with Wigan winning it all as the only professional outfit....FC, Leeds and Wire going part time...with maybe 1 big name each and Union.....picking up the cream of the game.

As long as other non playing issues are used by the RFL to decide who plays where , then every club will be pulled for whatever it is weakest at , with Quins it is attendances , with other clubs it is other issues , if you don't want them to be important , then ask to go back to P and R , simple as

I can....but I really can't be ars3d. It would involve stats, bending figures and counting every gate in SL over the last 15 years......and if I am honest, it would all be lies or at worst, the figures would be "bent" to meet my needs.
Wakey average 6k ish....Salford 4.5k ish.....Quins about 3k ish.......but regardless of those who now ask for proof of the SKY deal (since we were never relegated they had to find a new bone to chew)....Quins RL will be in SL in 2012..........that in itself should be proof enough that SKY want them in

I was suggesting that crowd figures aren't everything and Quins have a large proportion of excellent fans supporting the game in a non-traditional area and this constant sniping at the ones who actually go gets us nowhere.

Don't doubt it for one minute pal and believe it or not i've no axe to grind with the Quins club.
