Umbro are the main one that spring to mind. They are now owned by Nike though. Although to preserve its image and brand loyalty, I imagine Nike still want it to be thought of as an English company. Same with all those brands that are now under the wings of Adidas/Nike. Its a two man show this sporting kit business.

X-Blades UK is a far cry from X-Blades Australia, the quality is poor, made in a little sweatshop not by X-Blades Australia. It will be gone soon if what I hear is correct.


Kooga, O'Neills, Samurai, Gilbert/Steeden and Genesis (Puma) all make very good kits and are UK based.

Kooga make replicas overseas and Gilbert/Steeden use China but the others make in the UK/Ireland too.

Ravensport are in Dewsbury. They make the Swinton and Hunslet kits aswel as bags of amateur kits.

They run a twitter account that's quite interesting and shows what they do from designing to sewing the kit, all in-house. Have a look at @RavensportUK

The current Puma replicas for Quins are very good. Well made and fully sublimated. A very comfortable set of jerseys.
