who said anything about it not been fair? rover's are once again showing themselves to be a joke with even more flouting of the rules to get even more overseasplayers on their books. they're not just an embarrassment to themselves and their fans but to the game as a whole. its a constant stream of events like this that are slowly turning people (like myself) away from the game, it really is a second rate, poorly run, shambles of a sport.

anyway i've heard more whinging today from rover's fan than i have anyone else's. even your own lot think its a disgusting way to carry on. but cheating and whinging is the east hull way

The local rag says it all, around all the fuory and 'scandal' on the back page, one sentence says it all, 'although the mail understands that HKR are likely to have entered into a compromised agreement with Dobson'... but boring conclusions like that never sold papers did they!!

Not the time for crowing by Rovers fans, we may get our own way on this but it's hardly going to endear us to all the other clubs.

There's talk across these boards (from people who seem to have the inside line) that we and the RFL have had our hand forced on this.

Perhaps the legal people who post here could extrapolate, but is this how law evolves? Is this a test case?

Not sure what your agenda is here Chris28, as you will have read from my posts on other parts of the site, I know nothing of the inner machinations of what's going on and anything I've posted has mainly been posted on what you've said, because you know what you're talking about and what Kosh has said, because it would appear he has a credible inside line.

I'd love to explain, but I can't, as I've already stated over on the Rovers' board, I have no knowledge of anything.

I'm not responsible for my club, I've merely turned up, bought a ticket and enjoyed the rugby league for the last thirty years.

We've fought our way back from the brink, but for me, my club keeps pushing things too far.

I openly accept that my view can be quite correctly criticised.
