Hope im wrong as the site there is great, but Reds are down to be in the new place by end of the year too and we have visible structures. Would be great to see the Saints stadium coming out of the ground now!

Saints seem fine and no noises from their camp about staying in Widnes past this season. If as said this is final stage they won't be far off as all ground seems clear etc etc.

When the webcam was up it looked like they were piling to me TBH.

Yeah it has gone quiet, but just got to presume they got their heads down and are cracking on. Looking at recent snap shots there is tons of activity - as there was at Salford - only presume they are a matter of weeks/ months behind the Reds in the process and we will see stuff shortly

If Saints ground isn't ready I reckon they would either rearrange fixtures until it is ready and play a lot of early games away, or play a few home games at the LSV.

Updates on www.the-new-sthelens-stadium.co.uk/ from the construction company Barr, they seem confident it's on track. If it's not ready for October i'm sure an extra 3 months will be enough to be ready for the start of SL.

Excellent news for salford, bit strange though that the first thing they put up if the scaffolding for the Sky Tv 'Big Screen'
