I can't recall how MM works cos i don't follow SL any more. BUt I'M STILL RIGHT

1. If MM matches are not friendlies but count towards the usual 2 SL fixtures each, then the SL champs play one extra game (the WCC one)

2. If the MM matches are friendlies and do not count towards the SL table, then NOBODY plays an extra game.

Ok , 15 teams , everybody plays home and away , so 28 games worth 56 points

14 teams play at MM for points , so 7 teams get another 2 points each

1 team plays at MM for zero points as they are playing the NRL champions

So club X then has to play another game to be able to attain the same number of points as the other 14 teams

Team X cannot play another game because whoever they play then has played 30 games as they already play home and away 28 , and have also already played at MM

Is that clear enough ?

So, what's being said here is, SL to be expanded to 15 teams?
4 games on the saturday, 3 games on the sunday.
4 games on the sunday if the SL Champions play their WCC match last.
And, the SL Champions get a bye the first week? Then all the other teams have a bye for alternate weeks?
Or is now MM being proposed by you lot not to be the first week, but to be the second?
You are all going in circles.

Do you agree that in a comp that has an uneven amount of teams in it, that every week a different team will take it in turn to have their bye week?
So if you do agree then how come you find it hard to envision that the bye week during the MM could fall to the reigning champions of SL thus enabling them to play in the WWC at the MM.

It doesn't work , think about it if you have a ' bye ' every team has 2 byes that requires an even number of games , MM is the odd game

Because it is the odd game , work it out

MM doesnt have to be an odd game, it could be a home game for some an away game for others and a "bye" for one team
bad idea to have the WCC at MM (and to have even more SL teams), but it is possible
