This is a genuine question - what if anything did the RFL do to support the victims of floods in Hull and Doncaster the other year?

They allowed them to ignore the overseas player rules so that they could import a load of Australian's with building trade experience.

You mean the floods in Hull and Doncaster where nobody died (to my knowledge) compared to the Brisbane floods where lots of people have died and more may follow?

I'm not sure I agree with the comparison.

Edit: Actually, google suggests one person did die in the Hull floods, so my apologies there - point stands though; I think there's a very definite difference in terms of humanitarian scale and rebuilding requirements.

Absolutely, but you can't help but think the RFL are doing this for more then just 'pledging support'....?
