This can only be a good thing. Having people from different backgrounds (such as ethnic minorities) in the national team will hopefully encourage other youngsters from those communities to follow in their footsteps.
Likewise it's great to read that there are some southern players making the England squad. I support the team 100% whoever the players are, but it's always nice to have people from different parts of the country.
And with a few Londoners in the team, there will be no excuse for not playing a few England games at Wembley in the coming years.
