I feel that during the short time we have spent together on these forums I have achieved a fair amount. Barry McKenzies legendary Twitter page provided information to the masses when it was not possible to access this site. Where there was once darkness there is now light. I have pointed out the vast gulf in class between the NRL and SL and hopefully made most of you realise that players like little pommie sam and Gareth Eliss are woefully out of depth in the NRL. I've described what Harlequins need to do to flourish in London.... sadly getting banned from their forum after only 4 posts. Some people just don't want to be helped I suppose...thats despite me renaming their ground 'The Moon' owing to the fact no one goes there and there is no atmosphere.
I've exposed Aussie wannabees like Rooster Booster and Dolly 'I like to copy and paste' Massager who claim to live in Sydney yet bizarrely had never heard of the Blue Mountains and thought there was a bridge between Cronulla and Sydney (there isn't)! Busted!
Barry McKenzie expects no thanks for his hard work here during the last 18 months or so.
However if you have appreciated my efforts here then next time you are in West London why not wear a Cronulla jumper and pop along to Barrys favourite watering hole (the legendary Shepherds Bush Walkabout next door to the Green), purchase a Tooheys New, turn and face the old Holden car front end thats nailed to the wall next to the sticky dance floor and raise your bottle high to toast the dalai lama of footy himself.
