Crusaders have benefited by having the standard 3 game deduction reduced by a third. Not as good as the 50% points reduction that saved Wigan from the drop in 2007.

Personally, I think that Crusaders were rushed up to SL and are now paying the price of that rush to expand the game. They'd have done better giving them another 3 years in the championship to build their brand and expand interest in the game into Wales.

It would take a lot longer than 3 years....

quite,that's the problem nothing seems to change - maybe we need the Will Carling approach ie a big name player to call the RFL a 'bunch of old farts' to get things changed ?
