WTF?

The RFL move the goalposts so many times nothing should surprise me, but what the hell are they thinking.

I actually think that the RFL may all be secret Rugby Union agents, trying to make our game as big a laughing stock as possible

The events of the last two years have clearly set the plan back a little, but lets be honest they have 2 or 3 development products getting a lot of game time, Elliott Kear, Ben Flower, Lloyd White which is comparable to some established heartland clubs. IMO with everything that has gone on that is a fantastic acheivement.

I would expect that by 2015, if they are still in SL, that we should be looking for 6 born and bred welshmen who have come through the pathways set up by Crusaders to be getting regular first team action. That should be the aim.

But the overall aim would be to get them into a position where they were viable for SL, so it is relevant whether or not it was a way of preparing clubs for SL, whether it was the best way to do so, or whether putting them in the C1 would achieve much in and of itself

fear of a club not succeeding.

and as i said, we can commit them to spending money from the start, without forcing a start-up business to find £6million more than it needs to.
