Agreed, I recall starbug saying a while back saying national league had gained some credibility as a comp when crusaders where elevated to the top table. This statement gains more credibility every season. |

This makes very interesting reading, especially this paragraph -
'That follows a meeting of Super League clubs last month where they voted to change the rules that had previously disqualified any club entering administration from any subsequent application.'
If some clubs have voted this then they would have no gripe if Crusaders were given a place during the next franchise application. It seems they want us in any which way but loose.
Everything points to us being the new blue eyed boy on the RFL block. I'm not saying it is fair but I think the European success of the Welsh international team has forced their hand and I truly feel since moving to Wrexham we have been run like a top flight club for a change. I think the RFL will now take a look at us in the final year when we are debt free as it seems the W Crusaders Ltd company will take us over and make a decision from there.'"

I've read some of your posts from the summer when the Crusaders were flying. I didn't detect any help was needed from the RFL in those posts mate.
I would seriously worry if they're going to rely on the RFL. Not exactly a shining example of a stable-policy driven organisation is it? |

No point trying to have a debate with this guy, SL's problems are all resolved if Wakey are replaced with Widnes or so he likes to tell everyone |

Come on mate only RL could have one french team and one welsh and call it a european league.
On that basis Leeds Utd play in Europe every week given there are two welsh teams in the Championship!! |

Don't forget the advertising revenue that a Welsh club brings in for BskyB. If you cut them from Super League then Murdoch definately will pull the plug for sure. So really, if it wasn't for these expansion clubs, the game would die a quick death. So stop being so one-eyed and get behind these new ventures. It's the lifeblood of the game. Apparently. Or so someone with a far better insight into the game will shortly tell you on this thread. |
