Quote: Tre Cool "The PA was rubbish at the ground and it would have been easy for people to have not been aware the minutes silence had started, particularly if they'd had a few and were from Hull.'"
Any reason for that?
It seems a bit harsh to be pinning this on one club. I presume that there were plenty of fans from several clubs in attendance, and so an entire fanbase doesn't deserve to be tarnished by (incorrect) claims that a group of 6 or so came from that particular club. No matter where they're from, the majority of their fanbase will have observed the silence fittingly and with the respect that was due.
Any criticism should be directed at the group of lads that were disrespectful. Not at a club.
And the 70-odd thousand attendees who observed the silence correctly should be applauded. Not all will have liked the player, but all will have understood the tragic circumstances surrounding Terry's death, and respect him for being a talented player, even if he was particularly irritating for your club. Well done to all of those.
