Utterly shocked by this, rang my dad to tell him and we were both just speachless, wasnt to every ones likeing but when i read about it officaly i had a lump in my throat really gutted for him and his family that he felt it had come to this.

Really is shocking. I'm sure I remember hearing an interview on the radio with him a few months back. He was talking about helping out the RFL by going and talking to people about his experiences and to try and advise people not to make the same mistakes he did. I think he even said he hadn't ruled out returning to play RL again when his ban was over. Very sad.

Shocked. Unbelievably shocked. I only saw his interview with Brian Carney for the first time a few days ago. A tragic loss to the game and my heart goes out to all who knew Tez.
As others have already said, Terry split opinions. But I personally beleive he was one of the hardest working and committed blokes I've seen pull on a Wigan shirt in the last few years. Underneath anything else, and despite what some will say about his career, he was ultimately honest and true to himself.
Gutted.
