If we had stronger teams from fifth to eighth I'd be inclined to agree with you. Perhaps this weekend's games will prove that the Giants and Rovers are strong enough but from what I saw this weekend I can't see either giving too much trouble to Wigoon or Wire.

Im saying lets go for the NRL system, but the system we use is actually the evolution of that. The problem with the NRL system would be that if 1st place loses in week one... youre playing away after that full stop

If 1st loses at home to 8th, with the standard of teams in England, they deserve to have to play away from home.

Its a fair comment but its a criticism levelled at that system.
I also dont get what goes on between 4th and 5th, they must play each other in week 1 and 2 basically unless someone turns out an upset
