| As far as I know, we've average 7,000 this year, and this is with the mid-season dip. The clubs improved without special 'development' status (Cru) or 14 Aussies in the side (HKR), we've done it through building up a fan base, and getting success.
I was thrilled at the turnout by the Saders today, and yes, the crowd wasn't great, but I had to go down on my own cause my mate was working, and I suspect others were similiar. It's very narrowminded to think of us to be 'not in a Rugby League Town'. Compared to 5 years ago, the amount of Giants Shirts/Coats/Scarfs and Fans you see has exploded, and that's because of our Challenge Cup Final appearance. I just think people should concentrate more on those clubs that have taken sky money, yet year on year haven't improved their crowds, ground and team, rather than picking on us, because on 5 years ago, we've improved WAY over the rate of the avg attendences.

| Quote: meast "isn't it just?
the 2 best supported clubs in rugby league cant even get 10,000 between them for a play off game, embarrassing
And just short of 6000 turned up at the windy city!
Even practically giving season tickets away can't get people to watch the Giants!!
And yes I know it was an all pay play off.

| Well, it's a Leeds-Saints Grand Final again this year.
According to the build up to the game last night anyway, when Eddie Hemmings suggested it was an eliminator to see who would play Saints at Old Trafford.
