Widnes will be able to put together a license application better than several existing SL clubs and most Champ clubs.

Whether they get a license is another story.........

As i wire fan, it pains me to say that Super League is poorer for the exclusion of Widnes. I can't wait to get our Derby's up and running. Good luck widnes and let Battle Commence

Absolutely spot on. It will be awesome to have another of the great RL fixtures back on the card. No disrespect to Leigh, but it just aint the same as having our REAL derby. Cant wait. Same goes for Widnes v Saints and Widnes v Wigan, big games all of them.

Get over it pal. Im not a wind up merchant or a "troll" If i had the choice however probably go for for the wind up merchant as troll is not very flattering. Still, back to the post in hand. Being a new user probably means not many posts so do the maths. Not many on the trust board either(under the username brossie pepe if you feel the need to continue being forum police) so it really doesnt make me being a troll(strange word). If my opinions do not concur with yours traffic then unlucky. Its nothing to do with me being a wind up merchant its to do with that, believe it or not) i have followed my team and rugby league since i was knee high to a grasshopper, my first match being widnes v aussie in 1978, a match that i remember as vividly today as it started me off watching the great club i follow today. I have done my time and consequently so much more than you have. If you do not like me having an opinion on a manufactured side fast tracked to super league without winning a thing, stamping all over clubs with history and who have contributed to where rugby is today then thats just tough luck. Expansion is fantastic. I agree wholeheartedly but it should be earned. I admire anybody who follows their team and I wish you as many happy times as I have had, however, do not bandy accusations at me for having an opinion which you dont like.

I enjoyed the big game atmosphere the derbies generated. warrington are an example of how much club can grow with the right owner and the best facilities. I hope we can, if given the opportunity, follow this.
