Plus these are pre-tax profits. If SOC is fiddling the books he is robbing himself of a lot of money that will have to be handed over to the taxman from that £1million profit.

actually, given the losses last year, its likely that we had large taxable losses brought forward to ofset against this years profit. so tax would be less than you would expect

I'd like to see the naysayers actually spell out and prove how it's not possible rather than just say it's not. Fev fail at every other aspect of the SL application process, They still have not earned the right to apply. they have a good team, and as a club are one of my fav clubs but they are not yet strong enough for SL.
