| International Rugby League does appeal to me, but only when it involves Great Britain.
I just can't take England Rugby League serious enough to make the effort to travel to a game and spend money. Everything surrounding England Rugby League seems plastic, temporary, half hearted and untraditional.
I'm still a supporter and will watch the on tele, but unless it's a more meaningful game I don't feel as though I want to make the effort.

Seems like England rugby league has much in common with many posters on RLFans.

| Any game that gives a national side a decent hit out is good.
I think the French will get more out of this than England.
The main thing it will do is encourage the French to get a decent coach as they should get a flogging.
But then maybe it will also set the alarm bells ringing in Steve Macnamaras corner too if its not as one sided as you all hope

But apart from Carney (who has retired anyway) the England team is basically GB under a different name?

| I've personally missed a few too many of my club's games this year, so I'm going to that tonight.
Tomorrow will be filled with miscellaneous jobs and activities - I'll record the international and watch it at my leisure.
Football, cost, location and travel hold no problems for me.

Just look at who he supports. Typical.

Ok so forgive my lack of knowledge on the 'England' Rugby League set up......
I thought GB split because of the 2000 RLWC in order to make the teams up a bit with the old England Scotland Northern Ireland thing
I assume you are English from your avatar... so why does it matter to you?
Wouldnt you PREFER the team to be called 'England'???
