One of the best games I've saw in a while.

Peacock should have gone for the double high tackle on Tomkins in the first half IMO. The first one, OK, he panicked when Tomkins stepped him and he stuck his arm out but he then went for another dig from behind.

Brilliant game though. I'd personally rather watch games like that than tryfests with crap tackling. Crunching tackles everywere. Made me wish I was still playing.

And Wigan werent unlucky. A game lasts 80 minutes, not 79. I'm sure Richards said something simalar.

Tough game that. Slightly bizarre OTT stuff about luck though.

Wigan are undoubtedly a hard team to beat, which is good to see. When everyone has the benefit of a bit more hindsight, it should be good news for all that Wigan look like being genuine title contenders. I know they've been narrowly KOd in playoffs in recent years but they look more like the real deal this year.

But it's not Leeds "fault" by not missing tackles & keeping Wigan tryless.

Agreed, however after initially thinking Wigan had victory snatched from them at the death, i realised that Sinfield had infact had a poor day with the boot. Most weeks Leeds would have been 2 points ahead rather than behind.

So my conclusion now is that in fact it was a pretty poor game by those teams' high standards. Neither of them coped particulary well with the conditions.

I don't think we can judge too much from this game, tbh.
