Really loved his old stuff but the footy show really lost the spark when the big man left last season, Matty Johns leaving later on in the season really killed the footy show off.

Reggie was quality stuff though, got plenty of laughs out of the DVD's. Wish him all the best, seemed to get a real raw deal out of the whole sex scandal thing, great to see such a top personality back on his feet.

And radio and internet related technologies for that matter.

That is a better way of inferring the interest in a sporting event.

The big problem for clubs though is that Tv viewers do not equal $'s in the bank. If the NRL TV deal was x% bigger than they wouldn't be worried about bums on seats but it isn;t and probably won;t be for decades. With that being the case bums on seats becomes hugely importnant from a financial sustainability. As I have said many time before, give me crowds of 30,000 every game over an extra 1million TV viewers over a season any day of the week.
