Meaningful international RL requires NZ, France and Wales to be abke to call on enough full-time pros to compete, even at that there'd only be 6 couintries (including PNG) in the top tier. Therefore you can guarantee the non-heartland clubs will not be dropped, and a second French club will almost certainly get in next time.

you can have 3 french & 3 welsh teams in ESL it will still not help ENG/WAL/FRA to consistently compete with aus/nz.what it could do is give you a GB/FRA lions that might be able to compete them.

You don't have to. You can just say "this might not be the case, but I've heard..." or something similar, instead of the "I'm right, you're wrong" childish and rather boring thread drifting attitude you bring to every discussion on here.

You have just said your source is an internet forum. You earlier said that the internet has loads of cr*p on it. So despite whether you're confident you've read it or not, it could still be cr*p because it was from an internet forum. And everyone has told you it's cr*p.

Moving on to where your "confidence" seems to be less than you claim in the next post (i.e. "if im wrong"icon_wink.gif, then yes it is a bit sad for just £100-150k extra pa, but understandable in this economic climate. Plus, the player standards and intensity issue is a good one also. There just needs to be a good alternative for those that get thrown out. 10-12 clubs doesn't leave much room for expansion..

the way richard lewis has been running SL so far, i was thinking the nrl should poach him hes that good.

bit like getting promoted from Championship to SL, well take lewis and put him in the big time.
