yeah i see your point, because having teams based in London does nothing for your club when touting sponsors in terms of national coverage does it?

The European element in no way contributes to making the competition a more attractive option to sponsors?

The image of a true family orientated sport doesnt help..................oh wait, your an FC fan, probably one of the lovely people who choose to invade and trash pitches when you win the odd game.

So, in short, lets kick out Crusaders, Quins, and whilst were at it the catalans, go back to being on itv yorkshire, play in the winter and make all our money from sales of bitter, bovril and pies after 't game shall we.

I might try and work out exactly how much poorly supported clubs like those are costing us every year.

The whole point of Quins & Crusaders is to try and spread the game. 10k at Crusaders first game means there is a fan base where they are now based. They should also have a better away following than Celtic with the big drop in distance to away games.

Catalans don't bring too many to away games but they do get reasonable crowds at home and helping to spread the word of our game is always a good thing.

He does but even worse he reckons taking 600 fans across the city for a local derby is a big deal.

We have discussed the reasons why the crusaders got 10,500 in their first game on other threads.

Complimentary tickets and BOGOF offers featured highly in the discussion.

But surely, when you play Quins and Crusaders, the lack of traveling support means there are more tickets available for the millions of true league fans in Hull.

You really are a numbnutz aren't you! Even after I pointed out that Quins were responsible for your biggest gate last year except the Derby, you still have to have a go......pointless really, but here we go again. Listed below are the clubs responsible for the lowest gates last year:

Before you start having a go at the new boys or even us Londoners, I would suggest you enquire as to why Huddersfield, Wakey and Castleford feature on this list....as for HKR, I have already been told that this was a play-off game.....so what? In fact, that makes that gate even more terrible.

Can you prove how much the television money would be without a London and Welsh based team? What about the sponsorship (not just for Hull, but the league as well)? Have you even considered that some teams might attract MORE home fans to a game than others?
