Who says we had to sell players? How much where the squad paid last year i am assuming you know this? Maybe we didn't want to spend up to the 1.5 maybe we knew we had a hefty tax bill coming? too many questions to make so many assumptions and you should never assume anything.

but either way, I don't see anything wrong with deciding how much you can spend, and only spending that amount. Wakefield are doing pretty well with other people's cast offs, so why would we want to hang on to players that want to go elsewhere for more money.

How can having a tax debt of £350K+ and going down to the wire in the courts with the tax authorities be deemed good accounting. It is great news for the club/fans that the debt has been paid.

if the money came from the funds realized from the sale of BV then thats a real worry.

SL needs as many clubs as possible who can SUSTAINABLY spend the full salary cap

if fax and leigh can get their acts together they could easily be like widnes a few years down the track and knocking out SL clubs like cas, salford etc for a SL spot

look what hull kr have managed to achieved in their short time in SL compared to both cas and wakey.

their ground is improving, they spend full salary cap, they have a good away following.

it mightnt be the best ground in SL but it is improving.

Hull KR, even with their excellent core of support, are not currently sustainable without excessive outside funding. Were that to discontinue they would be up the creek.
