The guy was jogging round fine so it couldn't have been that bad or he would have had to come off mid way through the half. If you can finish the half t you can finish the game!

Sent 2 players off and sin binned one in what wasn't a dirty game apart from the sendings off incident (IMO he wouldn't have sent Coyle off for a high shot if Fitzpatrick hadn't retaliated with a punch) and continually disrupted proceeding with his new shiny Christmas present.

This fella needs to calm down with his whistle and let teams get on with it if he wants to gain any respect.

If you wanted to be pedantic you could give a penalty on virtually every play.

A defender in the line moving a fraction before the ball has cleared the ruck, a tackler holding on a second too long after 'held' has been called, the markers being almost but not quite square, the player in possession not playing the ball 100% in accordance with the rules.

Good referees use their judgement to decide when they need to act. Bad referees think that the game revolves around them and take even the slightest infringement as a personal affront.
