Back to topic finally.... no offense to Wakey but this whole european passport thing is abit of a joke, its a excuse to bend the rules to bring another aussie import over.
Every club tries or have tried it, one that springs to mind was Hull signing Cordoza? on a spanish passport midway through last season on a short term deal.
The bottom line is if any of these players improved,then went home to the n.r.l and got rep call ups from australia or the said european country(say italy or greece) they'd turn down the green & gold ?
Stosic cannot get his macedonian passport. Yet according to this article wakey were appealing for an exemption. Clearly they were willing to try anything to get their 11th non federation player trained ! For them 10 is not enough.

Stosic was appealing, not the club. Hopefully Kyle Trout might get a shout, would imagine Paul King will be signed to help plug the gap.
